Ireland Blogging Awards

Could you be an award-winning blogger? In January 2019, we will be announcing the winners of our first-ever Ireland Blogging Awards.

We are delighted to announce the launch of the first-ever Ireland Blogging Awards. For 2018, there will be two award categories.

Ireland Blogging Author of the Year

This annual award will be received by Ireland Blogging’s most popular author.

The award winner will be the author who received the highest total number of “views” for all their published articles on the Ireland Blogging website between 1st January and 31st December.

The “Ireland Blogging Author of the Year” award is open to all authors who have “contributor” privileges on the Ireland Blogging website. Authors with “administrator” or “editor” privileges are not eligible for this award. The award winner can be a personal blogger representing himself / herself or can be the official representative of a group / organisation.

Ireland Blogging Article of the Year

This annual award will be received by the author of the most popular article published on the Ireland Blogging website.

Ten articles published between 1st January and 31st December in that awards year will initially be shortlisted for the award. These articles will be the ten which received the highest number of “views” on the Ireland Blogging website between 1st January and 31st December.

For each shortlisted article, the total number of “likes” it earned on the Ireland Blogging website that year will be recorded.

Each shortlisted article’s overall final score for the year will be calculated by dividing its total “views” by its total “likes”. The award-winning article will be the one with the smallest overall final score.

The “Ireland Blogging Article of the Year” award is open to all authors who have “contributor” privileges on the Ireland Blogging website. Authors with “administrator” or “editor” privileges are not eligible for this award. The award winner can be a personal blogger representing himself / herself or can be the official representative of a group / organisation.
