Photos of Ireland: a new series

A new series of weekly blog posts to showcase your best photos of Ireland.

We are always on the lookout for new ways to make Ireland Blogging an easier and more flexible experience for all. Our latest idea allows social media users to get involved without even having to set up a WordPress account.

This new idea is a series of blog posts showcasing the best photos we see on Twitter and Instagram each week. These blog posts will be published every Monday starting from 3rd September 2018.

To have a photo considered for inclusion in our next blog post, all you need to do is mention @IrelandBlogging on Twitter and Instagram. This way, we will definitely see your photo and will know to consider it. There is no need to send us any photos and you will retain full control of your content.

Every photo we choose to include in our weekly blog posts will appear as a clickable image linking back to its Twitter or Instagram original. It will also display the text from that original social media post, so please keep it as descriptive as possible and avoid excessive use of username tags and hashtags.

Photos must be relevant to the overall theme of Ireland. We are particularly interested in seeing landscapes, architecture, landmarks, wildlife, and food.

Initially, we will be aiming to feature up to ten photos in each weekly post. Depending on popularity, this may number may be increased. A maximum of one photo per photographer will be chosen each week.

We look forward to seeing your photos.
